BBD Christmas Garden, stitched on 35 count Sheep's Straw linen with silk conversion done by Shepherd's Bush |
What's everyone's preferred method of watching the games? In this house we're selectively recording stuff on the DVR and then watching that way. Always a day or so behind, but easy to fast forward through stuff. The recordings are focused on gymnastics, equestrian events, tennis, and some swimming/diving thrown in for variety. When it comes down to it, I enjoy watching just about all of it, but there's so much I need to pick and choose.

PS I think I have just found another design I want to add to my stash!
Your Christmas Garden is looking wonderful!
Truly lovely!
Gorgeous Mindi. I have had the Olympics on all day but only "tuned" in when something caught my eye.
I have that chart. Yours is so pretty, I am encouraged to start that design.
What a beauty, Mindi! I just love the colors you're using...
Christmas Garden looks gorgeous, Mindi.

Beautiful, and a lot done already.
it is so beautiful..
happy stitching xx
That looks stunning
Great progress. Maybe by the time the Olympics are over you will finish this.
I just turn on what ever is on. If it interests me I leave it on. I hate that I see the outcomes before I can actually watch the event.
Christmas Garden is beautiful. I love the conversion to silk you are using too:)
What a beauty! Sometimes I wished I hadn't purchased the cotton floss and waited for all these silk conversions!
Lovely progress ;)
Georgeous. We record it too.
Beautiful stitching! I think I need this pattern, lol!
this is amazing.. really..
I usually watch them the following day, our public TV channels make very useful highlights videos.. (and disgusting commentaries..)
Gorgeous sampler I love it so much!
CG is looking sew beautiful
Beautiful stitches ~ love the colors!
I am working on one sampler each night during prime time and weekends! It has only one fiber so it's not as attention-necessary so I can pay attention to the events unfolding on t.v. too. I am an Olympics junkie - can't get enough and I love it all! The sampler at the start of the Olympics is my last post, will be posting the finish sometime this week if all goes well...check it out at itsallaboutsherry.blogspot.com
Nice progress on BBD - I love that piece, have it kitted, just have a couple others on tap first.
