Why do dogs always get sprayed late at night? That one is easy, skunks are nocturnal.
Why does the freshly skunk-sprayed dog run straight to my bed to roll in?
That's all, back to drying the dog after her hydrogen peroxide and baking soda bath, then changing my bed linens.
That can never be good! Never smelled a skunk attack, living in the UK but have the general idea.I hope all is sweet smelling now.

ReplyDeleteOh no! That is definitely not good. My dog got sprayed last summer but luckily I saw the whole thing happen and he had the forethought to move away fast, so it only got a little bit of him, but I had to spend the next hour washing him down. YUK!
ReplyDeleteOH no! Poor Annie and poor Mindi too. I hope the baking soda and peroxide worked. I have never heard of that remedy - just tomato juice.
